In the capital Maputo, a residential and office block has been constructed on a 3000 m² plot of land, consisting of two separate blocks. The project encompasses a total of 22 offices, 15 apartments, and social facilities, with a total construction area of 9000 m².
This project has been developed to address various design challenges posed by the region's climate conditions, zoning regulations, and differences in lifestyle. Its unique design approach not only strengthens the connection with the local environment and culture but also stands out with its original layout that preserves the memory of the ‘place’ it occupies.
The use of natural stone on the building's facade reinforces its relationship with the ground, while the wooden cladding chosen for the interior provides a warm atmosphere, aiming for a calm, aesthetic, and beautiful structure. The wooden solar shading panels on the facade are adjustable, providing not only an aesthetic appearance but also enhancing light control and energy efficiency in the interior space. These panels allow users to manage sunlight optimally throughout the day while reducing incoming heat, thus offering a comfortable living space.
Rosa Condominium stands out as more than just a structure; it is a project that transforms the character of its location and inspires its surroundings. Our design combines sustainability and environmentally friendly approaches, aiming to contribute to the revitalization of social life in the region. The project features open and green spaces, providing residents with enjoyable relaxation and social activity opportunities.
In these respects, Rosa Condominium not only meets the requirements of modern living but also serves as an exemplary design that respects local culture and the environment.
