Pelican Hill is defined as Turkey's largest villa project, consisting of a total of 713 villas built on a 2000-acre land divided into four phases. With a total cost of 1 billion dollars, the project draws attention both for its expansive area and its lake view. At Pelican Hill, the grandeur of California architecture merges with Mediterranean lines. Located in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, where the sea meets the lake, the concept architectural project of Pelican Hill, featuring different types and areas of villas, is signed by Robert F. Tyler, one of the architects from RNM Architects in California, USA. The landscape project was executed by Italian architect Paolo Spaziani. The villas, delivered only as exterior shells, offer a unique living experience.

The S.C.A House, located in the first phase of this unique project, is a three-story villa designed entirely according to the tastes, special needs, and lifestyles of its users, built on a 3500 m² plot with a total usable area (net area) of 1650 m².

The entrance level of the structure includes a gallery hall, a dining room, a kitchen that can also be used as a living room, a guest suite, and two offices for the parents. At one end of the first floor overlooking the gallery hall, there are two children's rooms, while a spacious master suite (160 m²) is located on the west facade. The garden level, where almost all living takes place, features a spacious living room accompanied by a kitchen, a dining room separate from the cooking area, and a structure that leads to a garden bar through a pantry, resembling a restaurant kitchen. This level also includes a guest suite, a guest room, and a cinema room, with the west facade opening to a spa area. Here, a Turkish bath, sauna, and massage rooms are complemented by a spacious gym area and a jacuzzi.

The spa area, with its transparent structure merging with the garden, offers a unique user experience influenced by Eastern aesthetics. The annex, designed as a 1+1 house, has been connected with all service units. The bar/kitchen, which includes a stone oven, expands the existing pool area with cooling pools, proportionate to the villa's structure.

This villa, where the influences of 18th-century English aristocratic lines can be observed alongside Eastern (Zen) architecture in its decoration, is adorned with the warmth of solid woods used in the spaces. This structure, which presents a timeless stance independent of trends, reveals its identity with elegant details and expertly crafted surfaces. The use of natural materials allows each room to tell its own unique story, reflecting the spirit of the spaces. Historical elements and handcrafted furniture in the rooms carry traces of the past into the present while creating a perfect balance with the simplicity brought by modern design. Each detail has been thoughtfully considered with a refined aesthetic understanding, and when all these elements come together, they offer the villa owners a timeless living space.

All spaces have been designed individually according to user requests, enriched with different lines that do not stray from the main concept. This special design approach ensures that each space has its own character while remaining in overall harmony. The uninterrupted material details reflect the spirit of the house as a whole, turning each corner, every moment, and every breath into a unique experience for the users. The landscape arrangements, intertwined with nature, provide a flawless flow between the outdoor and indoor spaces, offering peace and tranquility to its residents. This villa is not just a living space; it is also an expression of an elegant lifestyle that offers its owners peace, comfort, and an aesthetic experience. With its unique architectural structures, Pelican Hill creates a place that combines the grandeur of the past with the comfort of modern living, making every moment of life meaningful.
