Pelican Hill Mansions is defined as Turkey's largest mansion project, consisting of a total of 713 mansions built on a 2000-acre land across 4 phases. With a total cost of 1 billion dollars, the project draws attention both for its expansive area and its lake view. At Pelican Hill, the grandeur of California architecture blends with Mediterranean lines. Located in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, where the sea meets the lake, Pelican Hill features various types and sizes of mansions, with its conceptual architectural project signed by Robert F. Tyler from RNM Architects in California, USA. The landscape project was executed by Italian architect Paolo Spaziani.
In this unique project, the A.G.S. HOUSE, located in the first phase, is a 3-story mansion built on a 2500 m² plot, with a total usable area (net area) of 1000 m², designed entirely according to the tastes, special needs, and lifestyles of its users.
On the entrance floor of the building, there are areas such as a gallery living room, dining room, sitting room, kitchen, and study, along with a spa area that includes a Turkish bath, sauna, and indoor pool.
At one end of the first floor, overlooking the gallery living room, there is a children's room, a guest room, and a reading room. On the garden floor, which accommodates most of the living areas, there is a spacious living room accompanied by a kitchen and a reading room, along with an adjoining master suite. The garden floor also features a cinema room and a game room.
The decoration, influenced by the ethnic identity of the homeowner, showcases the effects of 19th-century Russian/Kazakh architecture. The home includes Eastern antique furniture and sculptures, offering a different experience.
This design approach combines the grandeur of the past with today’s simple yet sophisticated touches, providing elegance and refinement in every corner. The use of natural materials not only serves as an aesthetic choice but also creates a sense of warmth and authenticity that permeates the space. Solid woods, marble details, and finely crafted embellishments lend a timeless character to the environment, while modern lines balance this historical texture, achieving a harmony that defies time.
The richness and splendor hidden in the details of Russian architecture tell different stories in each room of the mansion, while the clear and serene nature of contemporary decoration presents this grandeur without excess. High ceilings, large windows, and spacious living areas make the mansion both captivating and soothing, while the natural stones, wooden coatings, and soft color palettes used throughout the space evoke a sense of living intertwined with nature.
This design approach transcends mere aesthetic appearance, transforming the mansion into a timeless structure independent of trends. Every detail integrates seamlessly with the lifestyle and character of its owners, as if it were a work of art designed specifically for them. As the homeowners enjoy the benefits of both the splendor of the past and the comfort of the modern world, every experience the space offers becomes a part of this sophisticated lifestyle. Thus, the mansion transforms into not just a building, but a living space that establishes a deep connection with its owners, reflecting their identity and touching their souls
